Both Bianconi and his Progeny firing

Jul 04, 2014

One of Victoria’s most reliably consistent stallions Bianconi has been thriving since relocating to Ridgeview Park, Muskerry East a couple of months ago.

The Sloanes are really looking forward to their first season with him and are eagerly awaiting the birth of his foal out of a recently purchased mare.

And whilst Bianconi has been doing exceptionally well, so have his progeny with his latest success a three state treble last Sunday.  Three very different sorts of winners too – putting on display the versatility that Bianconi is so well known for.

Two of the trio were new winners for Bianconi whose overall tally now sits on 499 – one more winner for a significant milestone! Third up from a spell and stepping up to the 1419m for the first time, the Karen Rolland trained Denbeigh Dah showed good pace to share the lead at Sunday’s Sale meeting. The race was run in trying conditions – the meeting later abandoned – but the lightly raced three-year-old was tough, racing clear late to win by a soft 1¼ lengths.

Meanwhile at the Hobart meeting three-year-old Silandro, having only her second start, was sent out favourite in an 1100m contest and she proved a class above her rivals saluting by 1½ lengths.

And at Townsville Carbinconi, a horse still racing in good form at eight, was an easy winner over a mile – recording the seventh success of his consistent career.

Bianconi throws horses who come to hand quickly over sprinting trips and who can go on. They are sound, tough and durable – making him the perfect Super Gold VOBIS stallion.

As his statistics show over 80% of Bianconi’s named foals make it to the track and his winners-to-runners strike rate is an excellent 60%.

And he can certainly sire a good one, Bianconi – whose progeny earnings sit at over $33 million are well represented by 18 stakes winners including the dual Gr.1 winning sprinter Nicconi, the Gr.1 Doomben Cup winner Above Deck and the Group winners Mr Martini, Redaspen, Schilling, Fillydelphia, Bianmick, Street Fighter, Leigh Valley and Rhythm In Paris.

Bianconi stands at $5500 (incl gst) and is an excellent investment for your mares this season.
